IT Live – TFDi partnership announcement

TFDI

International Trade Live have the pleasure of announcing our first partnership ahead of the must-attend virtual trade event taking place on 8-9 November; Trade Finance Distribution Initiative (TFD). The TFD Initiative addresses the business and regulatory issues impacting banks and non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs) when distributing or investing in trade finance. With a principal focus on common data standards and definitions to address operational inefficiencies, transparency issues, and risks, TFD Initiative is driven by leading trade finance banks and NBFI’s.

TFD Initiative thrives on the insights of its members and is built to cater to their challenges and opportunities. It develops consensus-built standardised best practices for the wider distribution of trade finance assets and is an industry-driven initiative that creates the blueprint for global trade finance distribution. The concept of providing examples of best practice to the expanding industry is a value inherent in the ITM handbook, and one that will be centre stage at International Trade Live.

We are extremely honoured to partner with TFD initiative and are excited to be joined by its CEO André Casterman, in an exclusive interview with our Editor Joseph Clarke. You certainly won’t want to miss this highly insightful discussion during the virtual event.
